Coach Rachel

I didn’t grow up healthy.
I didn’t grow up strong.
And for most of my childhood, I didn’t even believe those things were possible for me.
I grew up in an environment where nutrition, movement, and self-care simply weren’t part of daily life. By the time I was a kid, I was already dealing with depression, low energy, chronic pain, and concerning bloodwork. I was obese, exhausted, embarrassed to move, and constantly reminded of everything my body couldn’t do. Stairs left me winded. P.E. classes felt humiliating. Strength seemed like something other people were born with, not something I could build.
For years, I assumed that was just my fate. But in high school, everything changed. I discovered exercise that worked for me. Not in a flashy, overnight-transformation way, but in a quiet, consistent, and science-backed way. I realized that I could take control of my life, one rep, one habit, and one choice at a time. I learned how to move in a way that respected my body instead of pointlessly punishing it. I learned how to fuel myself with real nutrition instead of junk food. And slowly, I felt the impossible happen:
My body stopped hurting.
My confidence started growing.
My strength began to build.
And my life opened up in a way I never thought it could.
I became the strongest, healthiest, and happiest version of myself. Not by chance, but by learning how the human body adapts, changes, and thrives to the stimulus you give it. That transformation lit a fire in me. I needed to understand why these changes were happening and how to help others get from point A to point B in the fastest, safest, most effective way possible.
So I studied the science.
I graduated magna cum laude from WSU with a B.S. in Kinesiology, studying human anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and nutrition along the way.
I learned how to optimize training, diet, and lifestyle so people can live not just longer, but stronger, more capable, and more fulfilled lives.
That’s why I coach.
Because I know exactly what it feels like to be weak, lost, and uncomfortable in your own body. I also know the profound freedom and joy that comes from reclaiming your health, building true strength, and realizing that you are capable of so much more than you ever thought.
My mission is to guide others through that same transformation, with compassion, science, and a belief that everyone can grow to be stronger, healthier, and happier, regardless of their past or current circumstances.
Helping people live longer and stronger isn’t just my job.
It’s the calling that saved me first.

Our mission is to positively impact the health of our community. We will educate and empower our members by compassionately coaching them and inspiring confidence in them.
